Tiden i Cabarete nærmer seg slutten. Om tirsdag var det innlevering av eksamen, og med det startet juleferien. Og vi måtte jo selvfølgelig feire. Så tirsdag kveld stelte vi i stand til fest på taket. Der ble det felles middag med diverse kåringer, quiz og annet skøy! En veldig koselig avslutning på semesteret! Men, Cabarete vil alltid være her, og minnene vil vi alltid ha.

Volunteering in the Dominican Republic 2010. Eight students from Centennial College. Were given a scholarship called The International Service Learning Scholarship to go to the Dominican Republic to volunteer with the DREAM Project. The college called the project the Global Citizenship Abroad Experience. I call it one of the most amazing things that has ever happened to me.
Dominican Republic Jazz Festival swings in soon, Jazz-Quad reports. Part of what makes this festival different from others is that during its four days and three nights it wanders from venue to venue so attendees listen to outstanding jazz in different acoustical settings most of them outdoors.

Thursday, April 07, 2011. Teaching this class was a lot of fun and I think the students. Young and old alike, learned a little from the experience. School supplies are always in short supply and Jon and Kathy brought down lots of note pads, pens, pencils and other items that the students desparately needed.
